Pioneering Filipino company Specserv, advocates the pro-environment initiative through the DAKU Roof Garden Engineering System, which uses material and technology that promote green living. DAKU is the first leak-proof, lightweight and low-maintenance European-designed roof garden system in the Philippines. It uses the insulated technology of a Nuraplan PVC sheet membrane and the efficient water storage and drainage system of FSD 20, to bring the perfect urban roof garden to any high-rise.

With urban roof gardens proven to have environment, economic, and emotional benefits, many notable buildings in the metro, such as Rockwell Center and Greenbelt 5 in Makati, the Medical City in Pasig, the Mind Museum in Taguig have joined the local green revolution with Specserv and DAKU.
